It has survived to this day because of the huge, superbly flavored fruit it produces in generous numbers. Dark pink tomatoes are at least 1 pound, and usually more toward 2 pounds, and juicy, brimming with delicious, old-fashioned taste." 2009 Surprise 1 Open Pollinated Salad Pink Indeterminate 70 days This came up completely different from what I planted. It was a large cherry sized pink fruit with a very pleasant taste. So I saved the seeds. I have no idea what these plants will produce this year. Brandywine Heirloom Slicer Pink Indeterminate 85 days Has the flavor to which all other tomatoes are compared. This is the Amish heirloom that started all the excitement. An indeterminate, potato- leafed variety with a sweet, rich, slightly spicy flavor.
