Want peppers?

One of my customers, Geoff Bell, in SW Portland, is REALLY into peppers.
They will be ready about the first of May.
A list of varieties with descriptions
is available by searching Craig's List or by
contacting his directly.  His email is chiledr@yahoo.com .
First of March, and the tomato seeds are starting to sprout.  In a few short weeks we will be
transplanting, then a few more weeks and we will be ready to deliver plants.

2007 was the most rewarding year for us, as so many of you were so kind in your support and
encouraging words.

2008 was a hard year.  Weather caused a major loss, and we found ourselves sold out of many of
our and your favorite varieties before we began.

2009 we tried to be better prepared by "double planting" - planting twice as many seeds as we
thought we would need to increase the odds that we will have everything you want.  Perhaps we
"over corrected" a bit, as we planted over 23,000 tomato seeds.  Lets all hope and pray for a
bountiful spring and summer.

The Spring Garden Fair at the Canby Fair Grounds is May 2nd & 3rd.
We will be in a new
spot this year, closer to the main entrance.
There you will find our plants and those
great tomato cages, Wallo’Waters™ plant protectors, red plastic mulch and other growing aids.
Yes, "Chiledr" is planning on joining us again.

NEW!  The weekend before that sale, April 24th, 25th & 26th, we are planing on being at
the Clark Public Utilities Home & Garden Idea Fair.  This is held at the Clark County
Fairgrounds just of I5, north of Vancouver.

Yes, you can pre-order.  Just email (carl@unclewaynestomatoes.com)  with a list of the plants you
want and when you want to pick them up, and we will reserve them for you.  Please help us by
placing your pre-orders no later than Wednesday, April 20th, so we can pull your orders and still
have time to set up our booth display.   Thank you!

We look forward to seeing and talking with you real soon!
